Introduction
Kathleen has eight key life lessons for success which she shares to inspire leaders to help them manage change and deliver powerful and tangible results. These lessons are underpinned by four strong beliefs and principles which, if synthesised into one statement, would be “each and every one of us has greatness within”.

The Eight Life Lessons
Lesson 1
Setting Your Success Coordinates or “Nodes”
Nelson Mandela famously said:- “Those who truly know how to lead change are not without their scars“.
Those who dare to catalyse change have woken up to the power within themselves, the power of weaving the bonds between businesses, interconnected communities and individuals. They know how to create new network “nodes” within their minds and their environment (neuroplasticity).They have tapped into a perfect inner guidance system which aligns their neurological pathways with unlimited personal passion and vision.
Former US President Teddy Roosevelt said that “the credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena… who strives valiantly….who errs, who comes short again and again… who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst if he fails , at least he fails while daring greatly so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat”.
Finding the unique skill of mastering the mind through the force of inner wisdom and desire (which some call the “soul”) is the key. Not afraid of mistakes and risks, these “code breakers” are able to go deeper and faster in business by recognising the honour of catalysing greatness in others.
Lesson 2
Cracking Your Change Code Through Heart Led Bravery
Mental health issues and stress are increasing, “the Internet of all things” is affecting our ability to focus, the family nucleus is changing, peer pressure is escalating, post Covid impacts are not yet realised and the search for something “more” in communities continues to rise. Today we are expected to work on such multi-dimensional levels of interaction that at some point the brain and body struggle to cope after repeated exposure. Kathleen works with Executives who are immensely successful, yet they feel that something is missing in their lives. Whilst on the surface they appear to have “everything”, there is also a sense of being unfulfilled, and that bigger and better is to be found, somehow, if only they could reach it…
She is intrigued by the way in which the human mind, body and higher essence of a person can achieve outstanding performance when it works in harmony and alignment. To dare greatly is when we find the courage to unlock our own formula or code of mastery and become the powerful, high performing authentic versions of ourselves.
“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we have been waiting for. We are the change that we seek”[1].
Lesson 3
Having Courage To Test Your Codes – Daring To Overcome
Greatness is an untapped gift we all have. Sometimes accessing your potential is simply facing what is not in alignment and reaching new levels of awareness and honesty within oneself. Courage is “Fear is a reaction. Courage is a decision.”[2]
Our greatness could be held back by a childhood trauma creating patterns that are still triggered to this day. It can be impeded by many small things amalgamating into a one big barrier. Either way, whether it be learned habits or a personal tragedy, Kathleen finds unlocking these treasure chests and taking back the power we gave to them is life changing.
It allows us to claim a personal space of clarity, freedom and peace which will create a state of “flow”, whether it be in the midst of the biggest business deal or a life changing decision.
We are often unconscious about our rate limiting beliefs in Executive roles. Kathleen’s goal is to support the technical aspects of C-Suite tasks and assist in accessing a client’s power and focus in parallel.
Lesson 4
The Truth Teller – Gripping Your Reality
One of the great catalysts of change can simply be to tell the basic truth of a situation. We are served by a complex brain mechanism that builds layers of identity and masks that which we hide behind. This, combined with stories we tell ourselves about “why things happened” and “whose fault it was” can lead to a vicious circle of entrapment and limit our performance dramatically. Allowing ourselves to access our inner truth about a situation, and uncover what we are hiding behind, can be very empowering and help us build confidence in the darkest of hours.
Kathleen believes that if you speak your truth and understand what you want more of and less of in your life, it can bring a sense of clarity and confidence that is unstoppable. This rebalancing act can be challenging, yet liberating, and bring a person to a place of excellence.
“Imagine being in the most complex and chaotic situation and yet be able to find that place of complete serenity in the process of moving through the chaos – a place where you don’t hear the noise or feel the turmoil, you just sense a line – and you follow it and transform seemingly effortlessly”.[3]
Lesson 5
Visualise and Believe It First – Wake Up to Untapped Potential
In Kathleen’s work she has noticed that people are unaware of their potential and are simply reacting to life. Her goal is to assist in visioning and to help a client overcome roadblocks, both technically in the business and within themselves. Visualising begins in the emotional centres of our being – not just the brain. When the thought matches the energy of our feelings about a goal then, and only then, can we make those changes happen. The complexity for leaders is not only do they have to create their vision within themselves and bring it to life – but they also have to cascade this to a team, and bring everyone along on the belief that this is possible.
There are many theories on how to accomplish one’s personal and professional goals, but the common thread is that a decision to change is made within a person before their goals are truly realised.
“When feelings become the means of thinking, or if we cannot think greater than how we feel, we can never change. To change is to think greater than how we feel. To change is to act greater than the familiar feelings of the memorized self.” [4]
Lesson 6
Transformation – The Field of Infinite Possibilities
“As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him”.[5]
Many times Kathleen has witnessed the magic that internal alignment brings when a person or a group wants to change and also when a person is provoked enough to change because the “why” is big and shouting loudly. Change is available to all who see their outdated habits and their desire for greatness is more powerful than their deepest fears. It requires commitment and belief in the new picture of the future, combined with a knowing, a feeling or a gut instinct that will see them though the process and provide a sense of balance during the most difficult phases.
Success comes from being so centred and so aware of that deep, fine point where nothing and no one can tip you over. It is that zero point of awareness, that even when you do lose balance and fear starts to creep in, serenity can be regained rapidly, because you know you have the keys and wisdom to get back into alignment and focus.
“When you become comfortable in uncertainty infinite possibilities open up in your life.”[6]

Lesson 7
Performance Focus – Fall Down, Get Up
Our DNA has engineered us to successfully adapt to each and every environment we place ourselves in. We are in essence engineered for success. Infinite possibilities await us when we achieve alignment with our mind (thoughts and beliefs), our heart (emotions and feelings) and our body (doing and behaviours). Maintaining a laser- like focus of staying in this zone of alignment will permit us to achieve personal and professional goals we did not think possible.
True success for C- Suite professionals comes from the ability to lead with a potent mixture of confidence, daring greatly and a philosophy of learning from challenges, issues and risks, whilst being in ‘flow”. It requires taking full responsibility, ownership, alignment of accountabilities, competencies, behaviours and execution. Having the awareness to be present in all decision making – whether it be changing a culture or conducting a business turnaround – places the emphasis on having the courage to look at threats as opportunities and facing the pain of failure or inertia with power.

Lesson 8
The Eternal Alchemist – Dare To Be Unique
The reality is we have endless choices and possibilities, every second of every day. What we do and how we do it is what brings a sense of achievement and contentment, which can be unparalleled, if harnessed in an optimal way. Challenging performance boundaries for yourself and others comes quickly and easily if you can embrace the fact that you are a unique “vehicle” i.e., a combination of thought form, matter and energetic potential which may be suffering from “programming glitches” acquired through life’s challenges to date.
Daring greatly comes from conscious awareness of your internal programming and learning how to replace your particular combination of rate limiting nodes or codes with new ones. Step into your full potential and be the alchemist that you are by freeing up the chains of your past and learning to command your future by an empowered state of mind.
“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”[9]
